We are excited to announce that our Scholastic Book Fair is HERE! This is a wonderful fundraiser to build your classroom and at-home libraries! Below is important information to review! We can't wait to see you there!
Your students will be having a SHOP PREVIEW DAY on Friday, 2/7/25. They will be given a form to create a "wish list" of books they are interested in. This will include pricing to manage cash and eWallet accounts for their scheduled shop day. Make sure to include tax when calculating the total.
For those new to eWallet, this is a no-cash, no-fuss way for kids to shop! To get started, you must sign in OR create a secure Scholastic account. Fill out your child's profile information, use a credit card to add money, and then share your eWallet link with friends and family—anyone can contribute! Your child can shop the Fair using a printable bar code or name lookup at the register. When the Fair ends, any leftover money in your eWallet will be transferred to an e-gift card and can be used to shop online with Scholastic or to fund an eWallet for a future Fair. The funds do not expire and are not tied to a specific school or student. As always, cash is an accepted form of payment as well.
Please note that purchasing books at the Book Fair is not required. It serves as both a book fundraiser for our school and a chance for students to shop for new books. We invite parents interested in shopping at the Book Fair to visit after school on Wednesday, Feb 12th from 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm and Thursday, Feb 13th from 7:30am - 8:30am.
If you would like to donate books to your child's classroom, you can purchase a book from the “teacher wish list” bin at the Fair or donate to our class eWallet. We will then use these funds to purchase books for your classroom library.
